About Us at Coz Garage

Our History

Coz Garage began as a way for Nick Cosby, the company’s founder and lead technician, to remain part of his local car community while serving in the U.S. Army. Initially working on the back of Clifford, his 6-speed Dodge Ram 2500, Nick built an esteemed reputation among local car enthusiasts by helping the community with troubleshooting, modifying, and building project vehicles.

In just 3 years’ time, Clifford has been replaced by Alyson, a one-of-a-kind right-hand drive 2015 Kenworth T800 with a Cummins engine and 10-speed manual. Although performance cars and trucks are no longer Coz Garage’s main focus, they still hold a special place in our hearts.

Coz Garage began in 2019 in the back of a Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel as a way to stay involved in the automotive community by providing services via home and emergency roadside repairs.

As part of the Coz Garage experience, Nick uses his YouTube channel to share his adventures attending car shows, racing events, growing this small business, and his personal vehicle projects.

Nick Cosby is a top-notch diesel and gas mechanic, car fanatic, Army veteran, “dad” to four cats, and devoted husband to Alysa.

• If you had to choose a totally different career: “Hell, I don’t know! Helicopter pilot? Equipment operator? Something with a joystick that moves something really big and heavy. Like an excavator.”

Alysa Buchanan is the customer experience manager, visual designer, puzzle and board game lover, acquirer of cats, and supportive wife to Nick.

• Unique trait: Can lick her elbow
• If you had to choose a totally different career: “Airline attendant? I don’t like flying that much, I’m not sure why I would choose it! Or a camp counselor so I have an excuse to be outside in nature, crafting, carefree, and playing Capture the Flag.”

Combining the name of Nick’s maternal grandmother and the unique spelling of Alysa’s name, Alyson is a 2015 Kenworth with a bespoke body built by Summit Trucks of Wathena Kansas. She is the first truck and the flagship of the Fleet. Equipped with a 40 CFM air compressor, a 330 amp welder/generator, and the tools needed to get the job done, Alyson is a key part to what CGM. Being right hand drive, allows Nick to get out on the side opposite of traffic when performing service calls. Alyson has directional light bars, flashers at each side of the truck and plenty of power to to get up to speed quickly. By far the best truck for the job!
